अगाशिव लेणी

अगाशिव लेणी महाराष्ट्रातील बौद्ध लेणी आगाशिव लेणी  किंवा  जखीणवाडी लेणी  ही महाराष्ट्राच्या कराड शहराजवळची लेणी आहेत. कराडच्या सभोवती असलेल्या डोंगरात ही ६४ बौद्ध लेणी आहेत. ही लेणी बौद्ध भिक्खूंच्या वर्षावासासाठी खोदलेली दिसतात. पावसाळ्यात चार महिन्यात एका ठिकाणी विश्रांतीसाठी स्थिर राहणे याला वर्षावास (पाली वस्सावात) म्हणतात. ही लेणी पावसाळ्यातील विश्रांतीसाठी खोदलेली आहेत. त्रिरश्मी लेणी महाराष्ट्रातील प्राचीन बौद्ध लेणी, राष्ट्रीय वारसा स्थान महाराष्ट्र  हे बौद्ध लेण्यांसाठी प्रसिद्ध असणारे राज्य आहे. महाराष्ट्रातील  त्रिरश्मी लेणी  ही  नाशिकमधील  लेणी आहेत. [१] इतिहास  त्रिरश्मी बौद्ध लेणी ही सुमारे  इ.स. पूर्व २००  च्या दरम्यान खोदलेली  बौद्ध  लेणी आहेत.  भारत सरकारने  या लेण्यांना  महाराष्ट्रातील राष्ट्रीय संरक्षित स्मारक  म्हणून दिनांक ३ एप्रिल, इ.स. १९१६ रोजी घोषित केले आहे.
